Dave is a mentor and strategist to internet, tech, and mobile startups with a focus on product/UX strategy and development.

His investments have included Mayvenn, Tripping, and Lawn Love. Dave joined LaunchCapital in 2011 and has been an angel investor since 2006.  

Dave started at Yahoo! when it had only 10 employees. He built and ran User Experience and Design for almost 9 years, growing the team from one person to more than 120. Dave began his career at Apple, where he designed and shipped the company's first ergonomic keyboard, digital camera, and 17-inch multimedia monitor. After Apple, he worked at frogdesign, where he worked on a toaster for Sunbeam and computers for Packard Bell.

Dave has an MS in Computer Science from Stanford University and a BS in Computer Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. Dave lives in Palo Alto and is passionate about his family and about optimizing his quantified self.
